Dr. Byam was immediately reassuring to me and my family that I needed the surgery, and that he would do it like the expert he is. He carefully listened to and answered our questions, explained the procedure, and performed the surgery as soon as a room was available. I could not have gotten better treatment anywhere. Give him a raise.

Dr Byam is outstanding. He listens and explains surgical treatment very well and includes me in the decision making process rather than just telling me what needs to be done. He takes the time to thoroughly explain procedures and inspires confidence. I appreciated his problem solving skills and that he provided resources for my specific case. I never felt rushed and he was able to alleviate my forward if the surgery.

Dr. Byam performed hernia surgery on me on June 7. During the surgery the Colon was damaged and I was required to undergo anorther surgery and spend six days in the hospital. Somewhere along the line I contacted diarrhea - I am just now recovering from that. As a 92 year old none of this has been pleasant.

Was the first time there, and he did an excellent job. Asked all the necessary questions, did a good body exam check up. Requested for another test. Wants to know the cause of the reason why I was referred there before anything else. He is an excellent general surgeon. I will recommend him anytime. He was quick to jump into surgery like some doctor's I have come across. The professionalism is top-notch. We were very happy and at peace when I left his office (we: my husband and l). Thanks!
