This was my first visit with Dr. Afghani. She was very thorough, gave a full review of my records (most of which I had supplied ahead of time, and some which I brought with me), she was patient, respectuos, and has shown great care for my condition. I will continue in her care regarding my pancreas developments from here on.

Dr. Afghani is a consumate professional. The nurse practitioner who was the main person I spoke with was exemplary. She answered all questions, asked everything she needed to ask and it was one of the best experiences I have had with an NP at JH. She is knowledgeable, personable and hopefully will be hired by the team.

Dr. Afghani has a chip on her shoulder. She let me know in no uncertain terms that her medical degree did not come from GOOGLE. She cut off my purely medical question about my health in order to tell me that. LOL. She's looking at people thinking that THEY are thinking she shouldn't be there when THEY ARE MOST DEFINITELY ARE NOT.

They explained things in a way that I was able to easily understand. Additionally, they listened to what I had to say. Thank you Dr Afghani and Dr [ ]!

My surgeon referred me to this provider after I had pancreatitis. This was resolved long before the first available appt with this provider. I arrived and left unclear as to why I was referred to her when my pancreatitis healed a month prior. I drove 1.25 hours one way for what seemed like nothing. The resident who came in prior to the provider was very attentive and thorough. She already knew my very long and involved history despite my early arrival and her immediate entry to the exam room after the asst left. Very prepared!
