Background
In addition to clinical and surgical responsibilities, Dr. Chen incorporates educating residents and fellows into her practice. She believes this not only sustains the future of gynecology, but also furthers the understanding of pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Chen serves as a mentor for gynecology residents and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery fellows.
Dr. Chen is active in scientific research, with a focus on the evaluation of surgical outcomes, the impact of obesity on pelvic floor disorders and pelvic floor surgeries, and surgical education. Dr. Chen actively participates and presents at national meetings of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Urogynecologic Society, Association of Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist and International Continence Society.

Dr. Chen is wonderful. She provided excellent care regarding my gynecological issues. She allowed me to see the inside of my bladder on a monitor as she was performing the procedure. This helps me understand my body better. She provided me with options regarding some of my medical issues and explain them thoroughly.

DR. CHI CHIUNG GRACE CHEN WAS EXCELLENT. She was very kind and explained things thoroughly in a way that I could understand her. She informed me about every aspect of the gynecological procedure before preforming it so I was prepared. This was a 6 week post-op visit, tho Dr. Chen spoke w me by phone x3 times prior to this visit, addressing concerns I had about my recovery. She appeared appropriately concerned and suggested additional treatment and then scheduled another followup appt in 3 wks to confirm my continuing/improving recovery.
