Dr. Allison S. Brandt is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Brandt received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Studies from the University of Oxford, and her M.D. from Johns Hopkins. She completed her psychiatry residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, where she was chief resident. Her clinical expertise is in community mental health and the treatment of schizophrenia. Her research focus is on improving access to clozapine for people with treatment resistant schizophrenia.
