Background
Dr. Aditya Pawar is a graduate of Lala Lajpat Rai Medical college in India. He completed his first psychiatry residency in India at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and then pursued residency training in the USA in adult psychiatry at The Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, followed by child and adolescent psychiatry training at the Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital where he also served as a chief fellow.
Dr. Pawar's clinical interests include adolescent substance use, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and autism spectrum disorder. He has been actively engaged in research on early intervention for psychosis, substance use disorders, and the use of technology in childhood disruptive behavior disorders. He has published his research in prominent international journals, as well as has presented his research at international conferences.
