Dr. Kennedy specializes in caring for hospitalized children as a member of the pediatric hospitalist program at Johns Hopkins All Children's. He joined the medical staff in 2007. Dr. Kennedy received the Excellence in Service and Professional Award for Johns Hopkins All Children's in 2015 in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Awards.

After graduating from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, W.V., Dr. Kennedy completed a pediatric residency at All Children’s/USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and was then selected to serve as a co-chief resident.
