Her clinical interests include type 1 diabetes, bone metabolism and health, neonatal hypoglycemia, and childhood hypoglycemia.

Dr. Nambam earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Lady Hardinge Medical College at the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. She earned her medical degree in clinical biochemistry (chemical pathology). Dr. Nambam completed her pediatric residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago, and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
