About Beth Horowitz

Background

Dr. Beth Horowitz is an internist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and George Washington University Hospital, where she teaches first and second year medical students. She practices out of D.C. Internists in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Horowitz works with patients in all stages of adulthood. She has a special interest in adolescents.

Dr. Horowitz earned her medical degree from the University of California San Francisco. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Mount Zion Hospital. Dr. Horowitz previously served as a faculty member and director of the residency program at George Washington University Medical Center. She gave numerous presentations on women’s health issues during this time. 

Dr. Horowitz is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of Physicians for Human Rights. She previously served with Peace Corps volunteers. 

Dr. Horowitz has been named a Top Doctor by Washingtonian magazine and Consumers’ Checkbook magazine, as well as a Super Doctor by the Washington Post magazine and one of the Best Doctors in America.
