Specializing in the care of post-operative abdominal organ transplant recipients (kidney, liver, pancreas transplant recipients). This includes the care of abdominal organ recipients in the immediate postoperative period and subsequent readmissions to the inpatient setting for the management of medical complications secondary to transplantation. The unit also is the designated step down and inpatient unit for the Composite Tissue Allotransplantation Recipients (Hand and Face Transplant recipients).
