New Professional Staff Officers at Howard County General Hospital

COLUMBIA, Md.— Howard County General Hospital announces the following new Professional Staff Officers for a two-year term, beginning July 1, 2019: Jeanette T.M. Nazarian, M.D., president and Hadley Katharine Wesson, M.D., vice president.
Nazarian joined the HCGH professional staff in 2012 and is the director of the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Units. Nazarian received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Wesson joined the HCGH professional staff in September 2015. She is a general surgeon with the Johns Hopkins Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery, practicing at HCGH. Wesson received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and completed her residency at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in international health through The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
