William Holland Wilmer's Appointment

On Feb. 11, 1925, William Holland Wilmer, M.D. was endorsed by the Advisory Board to the Trustees of The Johns Hopkins University for appointment as Professor of Ophthalmology, and it was further recommended to the Medical Board of The Johns Hopkins Hospital that he be designated chief ophthalmologist. On Feb. 13, Wilmer’s appointment was approved by both the university and the hospital.
