Michael Bruno, M.D., Joins Cardiology Team

Pediatric cardiologist Michael Bruno joined the cardiology program at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Bruno specializes in electrophysiology, and his clinical interests include heart rhythm disorders in children and young adults, cardiac ablation therapies, and implantable electronic devices such as pacemakers and ICDs. He sees patients at the hospital's main campus and at Tampa General Hospital and Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital through collaborative agreements with the hospitals. He joined the Johns Hopkins All Children's medical staff in 2024.

Dr. Bruno earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his general pediatrics residency at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology, followed by a fellowship in electrophysiology, at Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine.
