Many of the activities and initiatives described in this report will continue in the coming years. We look forward to further implementation and expansion of the PFA unit liaison program, and solidifying relationships among PFAs and staff of their assigned units. We also expect to increase our role in the implementation of the virtual nursing program. As this report was being finalized, PFA co-chair Jean Hochron participated in the interview process where LeighAnn Sidone was named the president and chief operating officer of Suburban Hospital. We look forward to collaborating with LeighAnn on the hospital’s patient- and family-centered care priorities.
