Most recently, Dr. Jung created interactive screen-based case simulations on the acute care of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 that have been featured by the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa and that are used as part of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s technical aid response to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.

Dr. Jung received her M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, after which she completed a residency in emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins and earned her Master of Education in the Health Professions from the Johns Hopkins School of Education. Dr. Jung has developed a reputation for innovation in medical education through her numerous peer-reviewed publications, national guidelines, book chapters and online publications. In this new role, Dr. Jung will build on this impressive body of work by collaborating with the Office of Medical Student Curriculum and the Office for Online Education to develop and implement innovative technologies and practices in the M.D. curriculum and to direct the development of online curricular content for dissemination to learners beyond our institution.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Jung as she assumes her important new role at our medical school.
