“It’s intended to be something that anybody can go to as a resource.”
Megan Collins, assistant professor of ophthalmology and co-director of the eSchool+ Initiative, describing the COVID-19 Global Education Recovery Tracker. The tracker helps decision-makers in more than 200 countries make informed decisions around their COVID-19 responses.
The effort captures and showcases information across four key areas: status of schooling; kinds of learning (remote, in-person or hybrid); availability of remedial educational support; and status of vaccine availability for teachers. The tracker is a partnership between the Johns Hopkins eSchool+ Initiative, the World Bank and UNICEF. Learn more
