Congratulations to neuroscientist Ted Dawson for receiving a 2020 Zenith Fellows Award from the Alzheimer’s Association. The award recognizes innovative science contributing to understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Dawson received the award for his work examining whether a protein known to cause nerve cell death in people with Parkinson’s disease plays a similar role in Alzheimer’s disease. Read more.

Cell biologist Erika Matunis has been selected as a 2019 American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) Fellow. The fellows are ASCB members elected by their peers for their contributions to the field of cell biology.
