Glomerular Clinic

 

The Johns Hopkins Glomerular Disease Clinic in the Division of Nephrology provides comprehensive care for all types of glomerular disease. It is a collaborative effort between the members of the Divisions of Nephrology and Renal Pathology at Johns Hopkins University. Our mission is to provide outstanding and personalized clinical care while seeking to better define the cause, natural history and targeted treatment approaches for glomerular disease. Our team also works closely with primary care physicians in coordinating follow up care. We also collaborate in clinical and laboratory research and participate in clinical trials designed to treat glomerular kidney diseases.

Assessment and treatment for glomerular diseases:

  • Membranous nephropathy
  • Focal and segmental glomerulosclerosis
  • IgA nephropathy
  • Minimal change disease
  • Membrano-proliferative glomerulonephritis
  • C3 glomerulopathy
  • Paraprotein related glomerular diseases (MGRS, Myeloma kidney, Light chain deposition disease, Renal amyloid,)
  • Fibrillary glomerulonephritis/Immunotactoid GN
  • Hereditary nephritis
  • Thin basement membrane disease
  • Thrombotic microangiopathies
  • Lupus nephritis
  • Anti-GBM/Goodpasture disease
  • Systemic vasculitis : ANCA associated vasculitis, IgA vasculitis, Cryoglobulinemia
  • Fabry's disease
