Meet Our Team

Tailored Cancer Treatments

Our medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and gastroenterologists, as well as nurses, advanced practice providers, dietitians, social workers, and other caregivers, work together to support each patient’s experience. New patients have access to a multidisciplinary team who will determine the best diagnostic tests and treatments. Our experts also participate in tumor board conferences across the Johns Hopkins network to discuss patient cases. Each patient participates in forming an individualized care plan that maximizes the opportunity for a successful outcome. Patients also have access to innovative clinical trials.

  • Novel Cancer Treatments

Our stomach cancer experts offer a range of treatment options, including chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, radiation, and surgery, as well as novel treatments through clinical trials. Surgery is the most common and effective treatment.

  • Proton Therapy

Some cancers may benefit from proton therapy, which uses high energy beams to deliver radiation. The Johns Hopkins Proton Therapy Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital is one of the largest and most advanced centers in the U.S.
