Johns Hopkins Breast Cancer Program at Green Spring Station Outpatient Center

Jill works with breast cancer patients and survivors of all ages, with a focus on young women and their families. She navigates patients experiencing breast cancer at all stages, from DCIS or “Stage 0” to women living with metastatic disease. In addition to individual work with patients, Jill facilitates support groups, organizes educational webinars and serves on the Fetting Fund.

Jill studied Anthropology and Sociology at Emory University and holds a Master of Education degree from Goucher College.  Jill has served as the patient navigator at Green Spring Station since 2015 but began her time with Hopkins as a young breast cancer patient in 2005. Jill often calls on lessons learned from her experience to guide patients from initial diagnosis, treatment and through survivorship.
 

Elizabeth Saylor, MSW

Patient Navigator
Johns Hopkins Breast Cancer Program at the Skip Viragh Outpatient Center

Elizabeth works with breast cancer patients and survivors of all ages at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Skip Viragh Outpatient Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She has a special interest in developing programs and services for young women, patient of all ages living with metastatic disease, and patients from medically underserved communities.

Elizabeth studied Psychology at Northwestern University and holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland and a Certificate in Patient Navigation from the Harold P. Freeman Institute. Prior to joining the Hopkins Breast Cancer Program in 2017, Elizabeth served as the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults Patient Navigator at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center from 2008-2017.

A childhood cancer survivor, daughter of cancer survivors, and former Baltimore City Public School System (BCPSS) Special Educator, Elizabeth is committed to making sure all families living in and with challenging circumstances receive the best health care and educational opportunities available to them.

Kate Pisano, BA

Patient Navigator
Johns Hopkins Women's Wellness and Healthy Aging Program

Kate works with breast cancer patients and survivors diagnosed in midlife and beyond who are experiencing the symptoms of menopause whether they are occurring naturally or due to either chemotherapy or endocrine therapy. In addition to individual work with patients, Kate facilitates support groups. 

She studied English at Kenyon College and has a special interest in developing written educational materials that inform and empower women living with and surviving breast cancer.

With a background in customer service and patient education, working in both the ambulatory and inpatient settings, Kate holds certificates in Aging from the Johns Hopkins University and Oncology Patient Navigation from the George Washington University Cancer Institute. 

A breast cancer survivor herself, diagnosed at age 48, Kate is a founding member and patient advisor on the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (SKCCC), which is dedicated to promoting a culture of patient and family-centered care.
 

Eden Stotsky-Himelfarb, BS, BSN, RN, ONN-CG

Breast Cancer Program Multidisciplinary Coordinator 
Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center Breast Cancer Program

Eden is responsible for triaging new breast cancer patients and facilitates the coordination of their multidisciplinary care between Medical Oncology, Breast Surgery, and Radiation Oncology for all of the Hopkins sites.  

Eden studied Public Affairs, Business, and Spanish at Indiana University and a holds a second Bachelor of Science degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. A colorectal cancer survivor, Eden was diagnosed in 1997 at the age of 26. Her care was multidisciplinary and she understands how important it is but also how challenging it can be for patients meeting so many new providers at once.

She has a background in nurse navigation and patient triage and is certified by the Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators as an Oncology Nurse Navigator.
