The staff at the Pediatric Liver Center in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the Johns Hopkins Children's Center is committed to offering a comprehensive and compassionate approach to the diagnosis and management of pediatric liver disease.
Our expert group of specialists, including pediatric hepatologists, pediatric liver transplant surgeons, advanced practice nurses, a nutritionist, a social worker, and a parent support group, specializes in the treatment and family-centric care of children. We will include you throughout the process, from diagnosis and treatment to long-term disease management.

Clinical Studies

Performing research at this level follows our mission to be a leader in innovative discoveries that lead to prevention and effective treatment of childhood diseases, and to train the next generation of leaders in pediatric medicine.

For Health Care Providers
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition is exclusively devoted to the diagnosis and management of gastroenterology and nutrition problems in infants, children and teenagers.
Emergency consultative services (physician-to-physician) are available 24 hours a day by calling the Hopkins Access Line (HAL) at 1-800-765-5447 or 410-955-9444 in Baltimore and asking to speak to the pediatric GI fellow on call.
Locations
We have satellite clinics at multiple sites throughout Maryland. Faculty and staff in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition see patients in the pediatric specialty clinic at the David M. Rubenstein Child Health Building at the main Johns Hopkins Hospital location.
We have clinics in Howard County and at GBMC in Baltimore County, and our Weigh Smart® clinic is located at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in North Baltimore.
