"Inch by Inch" Stroke Support Group

"Inch by Inch" provides free education and support to stroke survivors, and their families and caregivers. The group is held the third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in main conference room of the John R. Burton Pavilion.

Other Community Outreach Activities

Stroke Center staff also offer outreach and educational opportunities to the communities surrounding Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, including:

• Yearly public service visits to nursing homes and community centers to discuss stroke
• Lectures to primary care doctors
• Bi-monthly education of EMTs regarding stroke treatments
