Clinical Outcomes Analyst, Johns Hopkins Medicine International
Janelle joined Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHMI) in March 2019 as a clinical outcomes analyst for quality and safety. In this role, she works with global affiliates and collaborators to support outcomes management, clinical process analysis and performance improvement initiatives. She is responsible for collection, validation, analysis and visualization of partner facilities’ key performance indicators data, and collaborates with the facilities’ quality teams to create action plans to improve care and promote patient safety. She has assisted partner facilities with the application of Joint Commission International accreditation standards, and has worked to reduce clinical risk as part of JHMI’s risk management team.
Janelle worked for Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center from 2014–2019 in the burn/wound unit and the burn intensive care unit. In 2018, she earned her master’s degree in nursing informatics at Western Governors University. She has experience in critical care, medical/surgical nursing and subacute rehabilitation nursing.
