Distinguished Teaching Society

Welcome!

Thank you for your support of the Distinguished Teaching Society of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine: a student-driven program that recognizes and celebrates residents, fellows, and faculty who demonstrate the highest standards of excellence in clinical teaching.

Many medical students have had amazing experiences in the clinical setting. Some of our clinical teachers have opened our eyes to a new specialty or explained concepts in a way that has transformed our education. We hope recognizing these wonderful instructors can help build a culture of mutual respect and esteem for teaching. For the program to remain successful, we need everyone’s help to take a few minutes and nominate a special teacher.

Thanks for contributing to this innovative model of teaching distinction.
