INFECTIOUS DISEASES Travel Medicine

Global travel is a rewarding adventure, revealing to us new people, places, and experiences. Yet the growing popularity and relative ease of moving between countries has the unintended consequence of exposing people to a range of health risks, including infectious diseases. Many of these risks can be successfully minimized when travelers take proper precautions before, during, and after international trips. Our travel medicine physicians and researchers are experts in endemic infections, vaccine regimens, and other preventative measures.
