Mothers' Outcomes After Delivery (MOAD) Study
From August 2011 when the first official Mothers’ Outcomes After Delivery (MOAD) Study publication was published in the Journal of Maternal Health to June 2017 when the study officially concluded, our research team wrote numerous papers around how childbirth affects women's health. Below you'll find summaries to those MOAD publications.
Many thanks to our participants for the incredible continuous support over the years!

Racial Distribution
The racial distribution of our participants shows a similar distribution to Baltimore County [74% Caucasian, 20% African-American, 3% Asian per the 2000 Census, as reported on censusscope.org]. This suggests that we are getting an accurate representation of moms in the area.
