Application Process

We are currently accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year (start date of July 1, 2025).

The fellowship accepts applications on a rolling basis.  However, for consideration for the next academic year, all application materials should be submitted during the Summer and early Fall of the academic year prior to the desired start date.  For example, for the cohort starting July 1, 2025, all application materials need to be submitted by early Fall 2024.  Details on the required application materials and how to submit each one are listed below.  Either in-person or remote interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis during Fall and Winter and the fellowship aims to notify applicants of selection by the end of the calendar year prior to the desired start date.

Eligibility

Our two to three year program offers several clinical and research postdoctoral fellowship opportunities for MDs that have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in the United States and are board certified or board eligible in internal medicine and a research postdoctoral fellowship track for those with PhDs or other applicable doctoral degrees.  Due to training grant restrictions, the program primarily recruits citizens and permanent residents of the U.S.; however, other applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Please send an inquiry to Julie Kurtz ([email protected]), GIM Fellowship Coordinator, if you would like to discuss your candidacy.
