    The Biochemical Genetics Laboratory at the Kennedy Krieger Institute is located within the Johns Hopkins medical complex. Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible to sit for the AMBGG Board Certification Exam in Clinical Biochemical Genetics.

    The medical biochemical genetics fellowship is a one year ABMGG-accredited fellowship open to those who have completed a residency in medical genetics. This fellowship offers specialized training in inpatient and outpatient biochemical genetics with the renowned clinical faculty of the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine, clinical laboratory experiences in the Maryland State Newborn Screening Laboratory and at the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Biochemical Genetics Laboratory, and dedicated time for independent research.
