    This is a one-year position combining clinical and research experience. There are typically four full-time fellows. The material comprises radical prostatectomy specimens, teaching sets covering the entire spectrum of urological pathology and an active personal consult service with over 45 cases per day. A major role of the fellow is in participation in the research projects covering diverse subjects relating to genitourinary pathology.

    The geriatric psychiatry fellowship is a one-year clinical post-graduate training position that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The fellowship provides training leading up to eligibility to sit for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) subspecialty board in Geriatric Psychiatry. The fellowship is funded in part by a Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program grant from the Health Research and Services Administration and also through philanthropic support. Graduates of ACGME accredited residencies in general psychiatry are eligible for the fellowship.

    The hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins is a one-year training program for surgeons who have completed a residency in plastic surgery or orthopaedic surgery. The ACGME-accredited program is led by hand-fellowship trained faculty from the department of plastic and reconstructive surgery and department of orthopaedic surgery.

This fellowship is designed to provide clinical and research exposure that allows for the development of subspecialist academicians adept in laboratory and/or clinical research, coupled with superior patient management skills.

    This is a one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship that emphasizes diagnostic aspects of hematopathology. Candidates must be board eligible or certified in either anatomic pathology or anatomic and clinical pathology; combined training is preferred. The fellow is trained in morphologic examination of blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes, with emphasis on ancillary techniques. The fellow has direct responsibility for flow cytometry and immunocytochemistry, and gains experience in cytogenetics and molecular pathology. In addition, the program includes exposure to coagulation and other aspects of laboratory hematology.

    The Johns Hopkins Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Fellowship Training Program received initial accreditation from the ACGME in 2012 and continued accreditation in 2015. The goal of our fellowship is to train specialist palliative medicine physicians who excel as clinicians, teachers, team members, leaders, lifelong learners and catalysts for improving the quality of hospice and palliative medicine across the lifespan and within health systems.
