    The Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship Program at Johns Hopkins is an Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-approved program and is funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Applicants to our fellowship program may be individuals seeking combined clinical and research training in preparation for an academic career in pediatric pulmonary medicine.

    Our pediatric radiology fellow works in a one-on-one setup with the assigned pediatric radiology attendings on service to maximize the learning experience. In addition to the multidisciplinary conferences, internal divisional case conferences (two to three times a week) and journal clubs, regular continuing medical education lectures alternate weekly. The fellow is encouraged to work closely with the radiology residents that rotate in pediatric radiology to “learn as they teach” and prepare them for the next step in their career as independent pediatric radiologists.

    Offered through a partnership with Kennedy Krieger Institute, this fellowship aims to educate clinicians and prepare them for successful careers in pediatric rehabilitation. Fellows follow their own patients and work on an interdisciplinary team.

    Our division is committed to training one fellow in pedatric surgery annually. The program has been cooperatively provided by the Johns Hopkins Medical Center and the University of Maryland for over 30 years. Both divisions of Pediatric Surgery perform more than 3,200 operations annually and have a staff of 13 pediatric surgeons.

    The Pediatric Surgery Training Program offers intensive and broad exposure to the practice of pediatric surgery over a two-year period. During the first year, the fellow rotates for six months at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and for six months at the University of Maryland Medical Center in order to provide experience with clinical populations of two large university services.

    The pediatric urology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine Department of Urology consists of one year of clinical pediatric urology training and one year of clinical/basic science.
