    Fellows train in the Johns Hopkins Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Training Program to achieve excellence in all areas of arrhythmia management. Trainees develop expertise in the diagnosis and management of arrhythmia disorders, including invasive and noninvasive testing, and all therapeutic modalities including medical management, device implantation and follow-up, and catheter ablation.

  • Clinical Chemistry Fellowship

    The fellowship is a one- or two-year program that provides M.D. pathologists and Ph.D. scientists with analytical, clinical, research and management experience toward specialization in clinical chemistry. The fellow rotates through routine automated chemistry, critical care, special chemistry and toxicology. The program provides training in clinical laboratory operation, quality control and assurance, laboratory management, analytical methods and test interferences.

    The Johns Hopkins Spine Surgery Fellowship provides comprehensive training in evaluation and management of degenerative cervical, lumbar and complex spinal pathologies including adult spinal deformity, tumor and infection. In addition to spinal decompression, spinal instrumentation and advanced spinal reconstruction, fellows are also trained in novel techniques and master comprehensive evaluation of the spine patient through mentored clinic experiences.

    The Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The fellowship provides training leading up to eligibility to sit for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) subspecialty board in psychosomatic medicine. The fellowship is incorporated into a one-year clinical training program at the Johns Hopkins Bayview and Johns Hopkins Hospital campuses. Graduates of ACGME accredited residencies in general psychiatry are eligible for the fellowship.

    The fellow will gain advanced experience in diagnosis, teaching and research in clinical cytopathology. Diagnostic material consists of a wide variety of gynecologic and nongynecologic specimens. Performance of superficial fine needle aspirations and on-site assessment of superficial and image guided deep aspirates provides the trainee with extensive expertise in this popular technique. Fellows are given increasing responsibility in cytopathology sign-out as they acquire experience and participate as instructors in an internationally acclaimed continuing medical education program.

    The Division of Pediatric Dermatology hosts an American Board of Dermatology-sponsored pediatric dermatology fellowship. The one-year fellowship is open to candidates who are board certified in dermatology and who have a special interest in pediatric dermatology.     This one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship program in dermatopathology is designed for fellows who are board eligible or board certified in pathology or dermatology. Two ACGME-accredited fellowship appointments are available with one fully funded position available per year. The caseload comprises routine cases generated from the Johns Hopkins Department of Dermatology and other Johns Hopkins clinics and consults from outside practices, both nationally and internationally.
