Meet Our Team
Michael Hammer, M.D.
Neurology
Dr. Hammer is a pediatric neurologist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. He sees patients at the Outpatient Care Centers in Sarasota, Florida, and Lakewood Ranch. He was previously a pediatric neurologist with Advocate Medical Group in Illinois. Dr. Hammer earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in pediatrics at New York University – Bellevue Hospital, and residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York. He then completed a fellowship in child neurology at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. His clinical interests include neurodevelopmental disabilities, including ADHD, autism and tics.
