As the exclusive provider of health services at IMG Academy, we provide a range of pediatric services to students.

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is the exclusive provider of health services at IMG Academy, the world's largest and most advanced multi-sport training and educational institution in Bradenton, Florida. The Johns Hopkins All Children’s health services team onsite includes pediatric sports medicine specialists, nurses and physical therapists. Nurses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet students’ needs in the case of illness or injury. The Health Services Clinic is in the IMG Campus Center.

Johns Hopkins Medicine was a leader in tracking and developing protocols related to the COVID-19 pandemic and has provided IMG expertise and advice in keeping students safe both on and off the field.

Patrick Mularoni, M.D., is Johns Hopkins All Children’s medical director of both sports medicine and IMG Health Services. He and Sarah Irani, M.D., a board-certified pediatrician and sports medicine specialist, and other Johns Hopkins All Children’s providers are available for appointments at the Health Services Clinic. Valerie Valle, Psy.D., who specializes in sports and performance psychology, also is available to students on campus. In addition, we have a board-certified pediatric psychiatrist, Jeffrey Alvaro, M.D., and a board-certified neuropsychologist, Jennifer Katzenstein, Ph.D., on campus every week to provide further services for our students. Among the services we provide:

• Urgent care and sports-related medical checkups
• Physical therapy
• Orthopaedic Clinic
• Lab work
• Administering and storing medication
• Ordering X-rays

We have three observation beds on the IMG campus in case students are too sick to stay in the dorm. We also can transport students to our main campus in St. Petersburg where we have access to experts in more than 50 pediatric specialties and subspecialties.

All IMG students referred to one of our pediatric specialists are provided concierge service through our renowned International Patient Services Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s. If you have received a referral or recommendation to see a pediatric specialist at Johns Hopkins All Children’s, please contact our International Patient Services.

We collaborate closely with certified IMG athletic trainers, who work with athletes on the field. Johns Hopkins All Children’s physical therapists work in the Physical Therapy Center, which is located in the IMG Performance Center.
