Nichole Hancock, M.B.A., FACHE, SPHR, Vice President of Human Resources
Nichole (Nicki) Hancock joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s as vice president of human resources in 2020. She leads the HR, occupational health and security teams, and guides leadership development, employee engagement and other key human resources initiatives for the more than 3,000 employees based at the hospital’s main campus in St. Petersburg and its outpatient locations across several Florida counties.
Hancock has nearly 20 years of HR management experience and has held leadership roles in health care human resources since 2008. She joined HCA Brandon Regional Hospital in 2018 as vice president of human resources. She also served as vice president of human resources at Citrus Memorial Hospital.
Before joining HCA, Hancock spent a decade in Peoria with the Illinois-based OSF Healthcare System, which includes 13 acute care facilities, a children’s hospital, two colleges of nursing, and a separate group of health care-related businesses in two states. Starting as director of human resources at a 100-bed acute care facility, she advanced to serving as regional director of employee relations for five acute care facilities and over 4,000 employees. She subsequently served as director of operations for POINTcore, an OSF business that provides health care technology, construction and supply chain services to affiliated and non-affiliated health care organizations.
Hancock holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Western Illinois University and an M.B.A. from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a formerly credentialed examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria Lincoln Foundation Award for Excellence.
