Vice President, Human Resources – Talent Acquisition

Yvonne Mitchell was named vice president of human talent acquisition for the Johns Hopkins Health System in September 2022. In this role, she leads the talent acquisition team in implementing best practices to recruit talented candidates and differentiate the health system as the "workplace of choice."

A seasoned human resources executive with more than 20 years of recruitment experience, Mitchell previously served as the division director of talent acquisition at HCA Healthcare. While there, she led the recruitment team in implementing innovative, competitive, cost-effective strategies for attracting and retaining high-quality talent for more than 30 hospitals. Mitchell also held recruitment leadership roles at Adventist Midwest Health and Fauquier Health.

Mitchell holds a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Chicago.
