Vice President of Total Rewards and Human Resources Technology, Johns Hopkins Health System

Nancy Kinker was appointed vice president for total rewards and human resources technology for the Johns Hopkins Health System (JHHS) in 2021.

Nancy joined the health system as director of compensation in 2019. In this role, she focused on harmonization, job architecture and overall fundamental structure of the compensation and benefits programs across the health system. Shortly after joining Johns Hopkins, she transitioned to senior director of total rewards, managing the benefits and retirement teams. Nancy has extensive experience in compensation and benefits in several industries, but most of her career has been in health care.

As the new vice president of total rewards and human resources technology for the health system, Nancy is looking forward to integrating the total rewards team with the human resources technology team to maximize the human resources impact and offerings and enhance organizational decision-making. JHHS will be one step closer to simple and scalable designs that will lead to a more sustainably engaged workforce, which translates into increased employee retention.
