Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, Sibley Memorial Hospital

Laura Hendricks, D.N.P., N.E.A.-B.C., R.N.-B.C., C.P.H.Q., is Sibley's vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer. Dr. Hendricks also is director of acute oncology and critical care services at Sibley. Prior to this, she held numerous progressive nursing roles at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and has more than twenty years of health care experience in the acute care, academic and community/public health settings.

Dr. Hendricks holds a joint appointment at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and is an adjunct faculty member at Capella University. She also is a national exam certification item writer and subject matter expert for the American Nurses Association. She received her doctorate in nursing practice with a concentration in executive leadership from Drexel University.
