Kim Elyanow, M.B.A.
Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, National Capital Region
Kim Elyanow serves as the vice president of finance and chief financial officer of the National Capital Region (NCR) for the Johns Hopkins Health System, Suburban Hospital and Sibley Memorial Hospital.
In this role, which she has held since August 2022, Elyanow oversees financial analysis and decision-making, capital planning, budget and reimbursement, accounting, revenue and expense management, and financial growth strategies. She is also responsible for planning and supporting the expansion of clinical services at Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital, as well as the ambulatory growth strategy for the NCR.
Elyanow’s career is distinguished by progressive leadership responsibility within health systems. Before joining Johns Hopkins, she was the regional chief financial officer for Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida. She has also served as regional chief financial officer for Tenet Health’s 17-hospital coastal division, with facilities in Florida, Massachusetts and South Carolina, totaling $3.8 billion in operating revenue.
Elyanow graduated from Smith College with a bachelor’s degree in government. She holds a master’s degree in business administration, with a dual concentration in accounting and marketing, from Tulane University.
