Jim Miller, M.B.A.
Vice President/Chief Financial Officer
Jim Miller is the vice president/chief financial officer for Johns Hopkins Medicine International. Working closely with the rest of the executive leadership team, Mr. Miller leads Johns Hopkins Medicine International in finance strategy, growth and performance improvement, including developing transparent monitoring to mitigate financial risk. He also helps identify opportunities to increase patient collections, improve operating efficiency and build client relationships.
Mr. Miller has more than 15 years of experience as a health care leader in both finance and revenue cycle management. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins Medicine International in 2019, he served for three years as director of patient financial services for Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland. Mr. Miller began his career with CDR Associates in Hunt Valley, Maryland, where he spent 10 years managing consulting efforts for more than 100 hospital clients, and eventually was named director of regional operations.
He earned his Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Mr. Miller also holds revenue cycle executive certification from the American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management.
