Jennifer Abele, M.D., M.B.A., is vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer at Sibley Memorial Hospital. In these roles, she oversees safety and quality metrics and performance. She is a board certified emergency physician and fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Abele received her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed an emergency medicine residency program at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She earned her master of business administration in health care management from the Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business.
