Mr. Ibrahim is the Middle East managing director for Johns Hopkins Medicine International. He has been instrumental in expanding and coordinating Johns Hopkins Medicine International’s Middle East presence and influence in exceptional patient care, continuing medical education, hospital administration, and clinical and professional consulting. By developing uniquely tailored services and programs to meet the needs of the medical, diplomatic and corporate communities, Mr. Ibrahim has been able to significantly impact Johns Hopkins’ presence in a very competitive environment and has nurtured fruitful affiliations and collaborations internationally.
Mr. Ibrahim resides in Dubai. It is partly his permanent presence as a trusted Arab/American representative, well-versed with the American health care business model and expectations, as well as his deep affection for the regional culture, that has allowed him to establish personal and mutual trustworthy relationships.
Prior to his time at Johns Hopkins, for four years, Mr. Ibrahim worked for National Medical Enterprises in Saudi Arabia (which was later absorbed by Tenet), followed by 13 years as the health coordinator for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington, D.C. In this capacity, he was responsible for monitoring quality, contract negotiations and exchange programs. Moreover, in this position, he established and maintained a patient services section and founded sustainable relationships between the Saudi Arabian National Guard and several U.S. health care institutions and their resources. Mr. Ibrahim holds a master’s degree in health care administration.
