Education and Training Programs

The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (SKCCC) at Johns Hopkins has a longstanding legacy of excellence in research training and education. Opportunities are multidisciplinary and span the basic, translational, and population sciences. This Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) component leverages this record to coordinate and advance these activities under a single umbrella at Johns Hopkins University (JHU). CRTEC’s primary goal, in line with SKCCC’s strategic plan, is to train a well equipped workforce that will tackle future challenges in cancer research.

The Office of Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination at SKCCC oversees the integration and dissemination of cancer research and training opportunities. It is led by Dr. Mary Armanios, Associate Director of SKCCC for Education and Training.
